Character Design - Sneak Peek

The main characters of Four Kings are loosely based on my son's personality and some of their physical traits.

Each character sheet contains a few hints from the novel.

Each main character has different motivations, flaws, and goals throughout the story. Although they grew up in the same household, they all have distinct personalities, backstories, and unique traits. The MCs navigate family relationships, but the friends they meet throughout the journey impact each character in different ways.

Character Quote:

Kai:

“Not really. There were weapons and fighting before guns were invented. But to be honest, I’ve never used a gun, and I know I am way more dangerous than most people that have them,” Kai replied.

Kenzo:

“Money?” Kenzo snickered. “No amount of money will get you out of this situation. You had the nerve to try to kill me, and now you want to ask what I want. You have to be kidding me.”

Kane:

Illusion was looking up the street and started barking. “What’s wrong?” Kane said as he pulled his hand from his pocket to pet Illusion on the head, but some money fell. Just as he bent down to retrieve it, a shot rang out.

Kanai:

“Let’s be honest—I would watch us too,” Kanai said.
